Human Rights Research
A majority of my research since 2019 has been concentrated on social responsibility, women's empowerment, and the correlation between sustainability, women's education, and the economic revitalization of developing communities.

India and Nepal, 2020
From January through May of 2020, I researched the correlation between conservation, community empowerment, and women's lives in Northern India and Nepal. In person research took place during February and March of 2020, with a premature conclusion due to the global pandemic; however, our abroad group was able to work together remotely to create several mini-documentaries on these three important topics.

Received a Pioneer Scholarship from Principia College for the summer of 2019 to study the effect of the recent surge in mass production of apparel on Ethiopia's economy, women's health and wellbeing, and traditional gender roles in Ethiopia.
Secondary research was conducted from January through May. In May and June, I conducted primary research over a 4-week period in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and surrounding cities on social responsibility standards for several large mass production fashion factories.
Main methods of research included direct interviews with factory employees and managers, observing factory conditions, reviewing the factory health and safety programs, and interviews with local NGO group leaders including the Yellow Movement and Setaweet.
